Let’s be honest, I’m not exactly known for my nurturing abilities. In fact, my friends joke that I could kill a cactus with kindness (and a little too much watering). So, when my well-meaning sister gifted me a peace lily for my birthday, I accepted it with a mix of gratitude and apprehension.
