From Black Thumb to Proud Plant Parent
Let’s be honest, I wasn’t always a green thumb enthusiast. In fact, I was more of a “let’s see how long this succulent can survive on neglect” kind of person. My track record with plants was about as impressive as a desert after a drought. But then, something magical happened. I received a little basil plant as a gift, and for some inexplicable reason, I felt a surge of responsibility for this tiny, green being.
Fast forward a year, and my once barren apartment now resembles a miniature jungle. I’m officially a plant parent, and to my surprise, I’m completely smitten! Turns out, being a plant parent comes with a whole host of unexpected joys (and maybe a little bit of soil on the rug, but hey, it’s all part of the charm).
