The Time I Tried to Be a Morning Person (and Failed Spectacularly)
We’ve all been there. Scrolling through Instagram at 2:00 AM, envying those annoyingly perky morning people who seem to have it all figured out. You know the ones – they’re jogging while the sun rises with a green smoothie in hand, claiming they’ve already “crushed their day” before most of us have even hit snooze.
My Pact with the Morning (and My Alarm Clock)
I, my friends, am not a morning person. I’m more of a “hibernate-until-noon-and-then-maybe-consider-getting-dressed” kind of person. But, inspired by the promise of increased productivity and that elusive “glow” everyone swears morning people have, I decided to make a change. I was going to become one of them.
Armed with a new sunrise alarm clock and an obscene amount of optimism, I set my alarm for 6:00 AM. The goal? A solid hour of yoga, meditation, and journaling before starting my workday. What could possibly go wrong?
