Let’s be honest, folding laundry isn’t exactly known for being the highlight of anyone’s week. It’s usually somewhere between “scrolling through emails for the tenth time” and “watching paint dry” on the excitement scale.

From Dirty Socks to Existential Crisis: My Laundry Epiphany

It all started innocently enough. There I was, sorting whites from colors (or at least attempting to), when suddenly, BAM! A thought hit me like a rogue dryer sheet clinging to a freshly washed shirt. It wasn’t a particularly profound thought, mind you, more like a “huh, I wonder why socks always seem to disappear in the dryer” kind of musing.

But that got the wheels turning. And before I knew it, I was knee-deep in a pile of existential laundry-related questions. It was like staring into the abyss of a washing machine drum, except instead of darkness, I saw…well, mostly socks. But also, a weird sort of clarity.
